Our standards

Our standards for the people in your home

Who gets into your home, what they are checked for, who carries the insurance, and what happens when something is wrong. Written out rather than implied.

  • Background-checked cleaners
  • Insured cleaning professionals
  • One point of contact

Our standard, in short

Every cleaning professional Tina’s works with is background checked and insured, and verified before taking a job. Tina’s carries its own coverage on top of that. Tina’s Clean Team is the service provider of record for your cleaning, so your booking, your payment and your support run through us.

Cleaner vetting

How a cleaning professional gets to your door

Tina’s vets, screens, verifies and matches. Here is what each of those words means.

  1. Background check

Every cleaning professional is background checked before being matched to a home.

  2. Insurance verified

Cleaning professionals carry their own coverage, and Tina’s verifies it at intake.

  3. Contracted by Tina’s

Tina’s operates as a contracted network. Tina’s is the service provider of record, and independent professionals are subcontracted to perform the cleaning.

  4. Matched to your job

Tina’s matches an available team of 2 to 4 cleaning professionals to your date, your area and the service you booked.

Coverage and accountability

Two layers of coverage, one place to call

  • The cleaning professional’s coverage

Cleaning professionals carry their own insurance, verified by Tina’s at intake.

  • Tina’s own coverage

Tina’s carries its own coverage in addition to the coverage each cleaning professional carries.

  • You deal with Tina’s

Tina’s remains your central contact for booking, communication, payment and customer support. If something is wrong, you come back to the office rather than chasing the person who cleaned.

  • A return visit comes first

If something in your booked scope was missed, a return visit to correct the work comes first, before any other resolution.

“Any time we have a problem, they remedy it right away. They even sent a team to re-clean when what we needed wasnt taken care of the first time.”

In your home

What happens while we are there

The practical side of having someone in your home: entry, pets, rooms you want left alone, and what the cleaning professionals bring with them.

Entry on your terms

Entry, alarm, parking, pet and lock-up instructions can be provided in advance, so you do not need to be home.

Rooms you want left alone

Tell the office about restricted rooms, an office, a nursery or anything that should not be touched, before the visit rather than on the day.

Supplies and equipment

Standard supplies and equipment are provided for the service you selected.

Nothing added without approval

If the home needs more time than booked, you get options first. Nothing is added without your approval.

Said plainly

What we do not promise

A standard is only worth something if the limits come with it. These are three things we do not promise.

  • The same cleaner is not promised for every visit

We try to keep continuity when schedules allow, but the same cleaner is not promised for every visit. Tina’s stays your central contact either way, so you are not starting over with a new company each time.

  • We do not confirm an appointment the moment you submit

Submitting the booking form sends a request. The appointment is confirmed after the details are reviewed and an available cleaning professional is matched. Confirmation and schedule updates are sent by email and text.

  • We do not add work, or time, without asking you

If the home turns out to need more than it was booked for, you get the options before anything changes: add time, focus on your priorities, or schedule another visit.

Are the cleaning professionals background checked?

Yes. Every cleaning professional is background checked before being matched to a home. Tina’s coordinates cleanings with vetted, background-checked, insured cleaning professionals.

Is the cleaning insured?

Cleaning professionals carry their own coverage, which Tina’s verifies at intake, and Tina’s carries its own coverage in addition to that.

Does Tina’s Clean Team employ the cleaners?

No. Tina’s operates as a contracted network. Tina’s Clean Team is the service provider of record for your cleaning, and independent cleaning professionals are subcontracted to perform it.

Will the same cleaner come every time?

We try to keep continuity when schedules allow, but the same cleaner is not promised for every visit.

Do I have to be home to let someone in?

No. Entry, alarm, parking, pet and lock-up instructions can be provided in advance. Tell us about restricted rooms or anything else the cleaning professional should know before the visit.

What if I want certain rooms left alone?

Tell the office before your appointment so it can be arranged ahead of the visit, rather than raised on the day.

What happens if something in my booked scope was missed?

Contact the office rather than the cleaning professional, so the job is closed out correctly. A return visit to correct the work comes first. Walk through before the cleaning professional leaves so it can be fixed on the spot, or contact the office within 24 hours and we will send a cleaner back to re-clean it at no charge, or take care of it at your next scheduled cleaning.

What if something is damaged?

Call or text the office at (609) 831-4455 and tell us what happened. Damage caused during a cleaning is the responsibility of the cleaning professional who did the work, and every cleaning professional carries their own insurance, which Tina’s verifies at intake.

How many people will be in my home?

Residential cleanings are done by teams of 2 to 4 cleaning professionals, with the standard supplies and equipment for the service you booked.

Who do I contact if I have a problem?

The office. Tina’s remains your central contact for booking, communication, payment and customer support. Call or text (609) 831-4455, Mon to Sat, 9 AM to 5 PM.
